Nebula privacy notice

Effective 16 October 2026

Nebula is a knowledge and tools service used through Claude, with an optional browser view. This notice covers Nebula, not the separate Rudeus or Sylphie services.

Sign-in information

Google sign-in requests your email address and basic profile. Nebula uses your verified email, name when provided, and Google account identifier to identify your account and apply its access permissions. It stores account details and sign-in authorisation records. The browser view uses a signed session cookie; signing out clears that cookie.

Signing in does not give Nebula access to Gmail, Google Drive, your contacts or other Google content. Access to a source is set up separately using that source’s sharing and integration controls.

Content and how it is used

Nebula stores files you upload, information copied from configured sources, saved pages and records, skills, versions, sharing settings, and operational records such as jobs and audit events. It creates structured representations and search indexes to retrieve information, answer questions, perform requested work and maintain the service.

Original files and derived information are stored on Amazon Web Services. The service currently uses local embedding and ranking models on AWS. When you use Nebula through Claude, tool requests and the authorised results returned to Claude are processed by Anthropic under the terms and privacy settings of your Claude account. Connected source providers process requests under their own terms.

Nebula does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Nebula’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Who can access it

Other users can access content according to its ownership, team membership and sharing settings. Search and tools apply those permissions. Service administrators have management access to stored content for service operation and administration. Do not treat a personal notebook as hidden from the service administrator.

An administrator can transfer responsibilities and stored knowledge during a team handover and deactivate an account. This does not transfer your Google password, your Google account or your personal credentials. Permissions in original source services must be changed there separately.

Retention, removal and contact

Signing out clears the browser session. Revoking Google authorisation does not delete your Nebula account or content; existing Nebula sessions may remain until sign-out, expiry or account deactivation. Content, version history and audit records may remain until removed by an authorised administrator. Deleted data may also remain in backups and storage versions until those expire.

You can review or revoke Google authorisation in your Google account’s connections. To request account or data removal, report a privacy concern, or ask about retention, email harishadithya.jobs@gmail.com. We will verify the request and explain what can be removed, including any team-owned material that needs an administrator’s decision.

The public Nebula information pages on rudeus.uk do not run analytics scripts or set application cookies. Nebula’s authenticated service uses cookies and operational logging to provide and protect the service. Changes to this notice will appear here with an updated effective date.
